"The Six Senses"

<< Previous Next >>

This book was juried into the "The Five Senses," the Northbrook Library's 2007 "art and the written word" exhibit. It is composed of four triangles bound with a piano hinge binding. This allows the book to be folded into a flat, more traditional book structure or stood up in the sculptural form of a pyramid. When unfolded and laid flat, it takes on the feel of a puzzle or maze which brings to mind the treasure hunters and tomb raiders of Ancient Egypt.
The hieroglyphics used throughout the background mean "I see dead people," which references the movie "The Sixth Sense."

Size: 9" wide x 8" tall
